Though we can offer consultations, services and limited contract options for those living out of state, service agreements may vary outside of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Please note that laws affecting bodyguards, security officers and executive protection detail specialists vary from state to state and country to country. If you are outside of Kentucky, we will do our best to provide you the services you need. If we cannot, then we will help you find trusted and capable agencies or companies better suited to serve your needs in your location. Launched in 2017, Blood Moon Security Solutions was founded by Col. David Harrington, a Security Specialist with years of experience as a security supervisor, bodyguard, wilderness survival expert, weapons specialist, firefighter and military historian. B.M.S.S. Founder Col. Harrington holds several degrees, awards and certifications, including NRA trainer, Anti-Terrorism Specialist, Executive Protection Specialist, and member of the Honorary Order of Kentucky Colonels, awarded in 2012 for his work in historical military recreation and preservation.

Founded on a premise that everyone deserves the right to be safe and secure in their homes and businesses from an ever-growing threat of crime, terrorism and collapse of society, BMSS took the standard model of a security company and deconstructed the concept, rebuilding the paradigm of personal and professional security to include the sale of safety and survival equipment and the training to use it, alongside standard services like security guards and camera systems. As the blood moon was once believed to herald changes and new beginnings, Blood Moon Security Solutions believes that we are at the forefront of a new beginning in security, helping to make all homes, businesses, schools, properties and law-abiding persons safe from the dangers and threats of our new calamitous society.
